Traffic Safety Tips
Don’t drink and drive. Use a designated driver if you are away from home and drinking.
Wear your seat belt. A properly worn seat belt will lessen the severity of injury if you are involved in a collision.
Obey speed limits. Almost half of the injury collisions in Citrus Heights occur as the result of one or both drivers driving at an unsafe speed.
Leave early, don’t be rushed. Drivers who are rushed or running late may drive too fast.
