2022 Election

Elective Offices

On November 8, 2022, the offices of District 2 Council Member, District 4 Council Member, and District 5 Council Member are up for election. Any member of the public who meets the requirements below may run for public office in the City of Citrus Heights.

Candidates must:

  • Be at lease eighteen years of age
  • Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of California
  • Be a registered voter and a resident within the District the candidate seeks to represent. Voter registration will be verified before issuance of the official nomination petition.

Ballot Designation Worksheet (PDF) - Fill it out online, print, and bring it in signed.

Candidate Statement Form (PDF) - If you are submitting a statement to be included in the County Voter Information Guide fill it out online, print, sign, and date. The first page of this form must be filled out and returned even if you do not plan on submitting a candidate statement.

Code of Fair Campaign Practices (PDF) - Optional. Print and bring it in signed.

Form 700 (PDF) - Statement of Economic Interests
